HALCO® High Temp Stainless Steel Aramid Hook and Loop
HALCO® High Temp Stainless Steel Aramid Hook and Loop is an extreme-environment fastener engineered for applications requiring cryogenic cold resistance, high-temperature performance, corrosion resistance, and high engagement strength. Constructed with stainless steel hooks on an aramid base paired with aramid loop, this fastener operates across a temperature range from -76°F to 455°F (-60°C to 235°C).
Self-extinguishing and tested to FAR 25.853, FMVSS 302, and B1-DIN 4102. The aramid construction is more conformable than all-metal alternatives, making it well suited for thermal blanket straps and covers subject to thermal cycling or corrosive conditions. Ideal for space and aerospace, cryogenic insulation, power generation, and refining applications.
Commonly evaluated as an alternative to Velcro® Brand Hi-GARDE® Hook 46 / Loop 8000. (Velcro® is a registered trademark of Velcro Companies.)
For applications requiring higher heat tolerance (up to 545°F) or a more conformable material for sew-in apparel, consider HALCO® Heat Resistant Hook and Loop.

Delivers 1.7 lb/in peel and 24.7 lb/in² shear — significantly higher engagement strength than other heat resistant fasteners.
