HALCO® Auto Mushroom Hook
HALCO® Auto Mushroom Hook is a fire retardant mushroom hook fastener designed specifically for automotive and transportation seating applications. This product features polypropylene hooks on a nylon base with a white non-woven backing that enables liquid adhesives to be used for bonding to foam seat cushions.
Engineered to pair with HALCO® Auto Loose Loop for seat cover attachment, this product delivers high peel (9.63 lb/in²) and shear (58.38 lb/in²) strength for semi-permanent installations like automotive seat covers and headliners. Fire retardant coated to FMVSS 302 and FAR 25.853 specifications.

HALCO® Auto Mushroom Hook is available in widths from 1/2″ to 54″ (no selvedges), with custom widths and die-cut shapes available. Supplied in green only on 50-yard rolls. The non-woven backing accepts a variety of liquid adhesives for foam bonding — Halco recommends user testing for specific adhesive compatibility.
Halco also now offers a new, wide width mushroom hook product with widths up to 54″. This material is ideal for die-cutting and larger format applications. Speak to a representative for more information.
