HALCO® R9 Adhesive FR Hook and Loop
HALCO® R9 Adhesive FR Hook and Loop is a flame retardant hook and loop fastener with aggressive synthetic rubber adhesive backing. The self-extinguishing adhesive system bonds well to stainless steel, polyacrylic, polycarbonate, and polyethylene surfaces. Performs well in direct sunlight and elevated temperatures up to 149°F (65°C).
Tested to UL 94 V-2, FAR 25.853, FMVSS 302, and Cal 117. Also meets automotive specifications including GM3618M, Ford WSB-M15P35, and Daimler Chrysler PF-8543.
For applications requiring an acrylic adhesive formulation to meet specific regulatory or OEM requirements, Halco can also laminate FR-rated pressure sensitive adhesives to any Halco sew-in hook or loop tape.

Product Technical Data
HALCO® R9 Adhesive FR Hook and Loop is available in 1/2″ to 6″ widths on 27.5-yard and 50-yard rolls, slittable to custom widths. Die-cut shapes available with standard paper liner.
Delivers 11.2 lb/in peel adhesion on stainless steel with immediate bond strength. Avoid plywood, EVA, and PVC substrates.
