Sew-On Flame Retardant Hook and Loop
Halco’s flame retardant hook and loop fastening tape is a premium, plain-backed solution engineered for high-performance aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications. Made from 100% nylon, this fire retardant hook and loop fastener provides excellent peel and shear strength along with a long lifecycle. The product features a fire retardant cloth backed tape construction with a specialized FR coating that meets FAA and FMV specifications, and it has been tested to meet various OEM standards. It is commonly compared to VELCRO® Brand Flame Retardant Mil-Spec Sew-on Tape.

Halco’s FR hook & loop is available in widths from 1/2″ to 6″ and can be custom slit to match your requirements. This sew-on tape is flame retardant, fire resistant, and ideal for applications where safety and compliance are critical.
- Plain back for sew-on use in soft goods and technical applications
- Compatible with Halco’s High Temp FR Adhesive Tape for bonding
- Available with stock adhesive backings or custom laminated FR adhesives
- Meets FAA and FMV specifications for flame resistance
