HALCO® Heat Resistant Hook and Loop
HALCO® Heat Resistant Hook and Loop is a high-temperature fastener engineered for applications requiring sustained heat resistance beyond the capability of standard nylon hook and loop. Manufactured from 92% polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and 8% polyester, this fastener withstands temperatures up to 545°F (285°C).
Complies with FAR 25.853, FMVSS 302, and BSS 7239 (Boeing smoke and toxicity) standards. Conformable and easy to sew, this product is ideal for aircraft thermal insulation blankets, welding apparel, foundry workwear, and industrial insulation covers. Commonly evaluated as an alternative to Velcro® Brand Hi-AIR® Nomex® Hook and Loop. (Velcro® and Nomex® are registered trademarks of Velcro Companies and DuPont, respectively.)
Available with plain back for sew-on applications or laminated with high-temperature FR adhesive for bonded installations. For thermal blanket straps and covers requiring cryogenic temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, or higher engagement strength, consider HALCO® Stainless Steel Aramid Hook and Loop.

Product Technical Data
HALCO® Heat Resistant Hook and Loop is available in 1″ and 2″ widths on 27.5-yard rolls, slittable up to 4″. Die-cut shapes available. Natural tan or gray.
Delivers 0.67 lb/in peel and 14.2 lb/in² shear, retaining 70% peel strength and 83% shear strength after 500 cycles.
