Unlike surface-printed cable ties and straps where ink sits exposed on the outside of the product, HALCO® Custom Printed Back2Back embeds the printing inside the product construction. The result is a print that’s fully visible through a transparent hook surface but physically protected from abrasion, handling, solvents, and UV exposure. The print doesn’t wear off because nothing touches it.
This construction produces print resolution sharp enough to reproduce fine detail — including the registered trademark symbol (®) in a company logo — that surface printing methods typically cannot achieve on textured hook and loop materials.
What Makes it Different
With conventional printed cable ties and straps, the ink is applied to the outer surface of the finished product — exposed to every touch, every abrasion, every solvent wipe, every UV cycle. The print degrades because the print is unprotected.
HALCO® Custom Printed Back2Back takes a fundamentally different approach. The printing is embedded inside the product construction and sealed beneath a transparent hook surface. The graphics are fully visible but physically untouchable — nothing contacts the ink layer during handling, installation, or use. The product looks and functions like standard Back2Back tape, with one addition: the hook side displays crisp, durable, full-color graphics that are permanently part of the product.

HALCO® Custom Printed Back2Back solves this by embedding the print inside the product construction, permanently sealed beneath a transparent hook surface. The print is visible but untouchable — protected from abrasion, chemicals, UV, and handling for the entire service life of the product.
This is not an incremental improvement over surface printing. It is a fundamentally different construction that produces more durable, higher-resolution branding and identification than any external printing method can achieve on hook and loop materials.
