HALCO® FR Back2Back
HALCO® FR Back2Back is a fire retardant, self-engaging hook and loop strap tape certified for use in plenum spaces, aerospace applications, and other fire-rated environments. Constructed with Type 3 molded hook on one side and FR-coated loop on the opposite side, this fastener delivers heavy-duty holding power while meeting stringent flammability requirements.
Like all Back2Back products, FR Back2Back wraps onto itself without the need for a mating surface — providing reusable, adjustable cable management that meets building code and NEC requirements for commercial construction. Ideal for data center plenums, aerospace wire harness management, commercial building cable runs, and industrial applications where fire compliance is required.
Commonly evaluated as an alternative to Velcro® Brand ONE-WRAP® FR. (Velcro® is a registered trademark of Velcro Companies.)

Product Technical Data
HALCO® FR Back2Back is available in 1/2″ to 12″ widths on 27.5-yard rolls. Also supplied as custom cut lengths, cut strips, perforated onto rolls for easy tear-off and installation, fabricated into back straps, and die-cut cable ties.
The Type 3 molded hook with FR knit loop delivers 1.0 lb/in peel and 29.3 lb/in² shear — the same heavy-duty engagement as AGR Knit Back2Back, with fire retardant compliance. Certified to FAR 25.853, UL 94 V2, and UL 2043 for aerospace and plenum-rated applications.
