HALCO® Type 10 Molded Hook is the heaviest-duty molded hook fastener in Halco’s lineup, delivering the highest peel and shear engagement strength for industrial applications where closure strength is the priority.
Designed for panel attachment, headliner mounting, and other demanding automotive and transportation applications, Type 10 provides exceptional holding power with the tradeoff of limited cycle life. Available with plain back for sewing or with adhesive, fabric, suede, and loop backings.

HALCO® Type 10 Molded Hook delivers the highest engagement strength in Halco’s molded hook portfolio — up to 3.9 lb/in peel and 36.0 lb/in² shear — for applications where holding power is the priority and the closure is rarely reopened. For even greater strength, consider Mushroom Hook. For applications requiring repeated cycling, consider Type 4 Molded Hook.
Available in 1/2″ – 6″ widths, slittable to custom widths. Plain back for sewing or with adhesive, fabric, suede, and loop (Back2Back) backings. Fire retardant coatings available.
