HALCO® Type 4 Molded Hook delivers the best cycle life in Halco’s molded hook lineup — only 10% strength reduction at 10,000 cycles with woven loop — while maintaining high peel (3.4 lb/in) and shear (28.6 lb/in²) performance. This makes it the right choice for applications requiring repeated opening and closing without degradation, such as medical devices, reusable straps, and industrial closures.
For applications where cycle life is less critical but higher shear strength is needed, consider Type 3 Molded Hook.

HALCO® Type 4 Molded Hook pairs with woven loop for ultra-durable performance: 3.4 lb/in peel, 28.6 lb/in² shear, 119 mil engaged thickness, with only 10% strength reduction at 10,000 cycles. Pairing with unnapped loop delivers similar durability (20% reduction at 10,000 cycles) with excellent lint resistance.
Available in 1/2″ – 12″ widths, slittable to custom widths. Plain back for sewing or with adhesive, fabric, suede, and loop (Back2Back) backings.
