HALCO® Type 6 Medical Molded Hook
HALCO® Type 6 Medical Molded Hook is a white polyolefin hook fastener specifically designed for disposable medical devices and diagnostic applications. This product is engineered for single-use medical construction — with EtO sterilization compatibility, gamma radiation stability up to 45 kGy, and no natural rubber latex.
The synthetic rubber adhesive backing provides aggressive adhesion to films and nonwovens commonly used in disposable medical products. For reusable medical devices like orthopedic braces and patient positioning straps, consider Type 1 Low Profile Molded Hook or Soft Hook.

HALCO® Type 6 Medical Molded Hook pairs with HALCO® Medical Knit Loop for aggressive shear closure in a thin, conformable format at just 19 mils (0.5 mm) thickness. Designed for medical device closures, gown fastening, diagnostic equipment, and other disposable applications requiring sterilization.
Available in widths from 1/2″ – 26″, slittable to custom widths. Supplied with synthetic rubber medical adhesive backing on bleached kraft paper liner. Medical grade adhesive tapes from 3M and Avery can also be laminated.
